I think I’m going to faint! The Season 4 promoshoot for Battlestar Galactica has surfaced online, and we have some gorgeous hi-res photos of Tricia as Number Six for you! I don’t know about you, but I nearly had a stroke when I saw these. You’ll notice that she is once again wearing the red dress that first debuted in the 2003 miniseries.
I’ve added a total of 11 hi-res photos of Tricia’s newest Battlestar Galactica promos; a huge thank you to Krista for sending them in!

Ooh! Tricia has made her second event appearance of the year. On February 27th, she attended the ‘Celebrate Like Royalty’ party in Hollywood, looking absolutely fabulous and sexy, as always. Gotta love that leather jacket!
I’m currently having some trouble obtaining photos, but I have added the first 4 medium-res photos of a lovely Tricia at the event. I’ll add more as I find them. Enjoy!
Update: I’ve added another 7 medium-res photos of Tricia at the event thanks to the lovely Maria of Uma Fan!

Fabulous news, everyone! The nominees for the 34th Annual Saturn Awards have been announced, and Battlestar Galactica is nominated in three categories! Unfortunately, Tricia’s portrayal of Six did not make it to the nominee list (rather unwarrantedly, in my opinion). Here are the series’ three nominations, thanks to BloodyDisgusting.com:
Best Syndicated / Cable Television Series:
Dexter (Showtime)
• Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi Channel)
Stargate SG-1 (Sci Fi Channel / MGM)
The Closer (TNT)
Kyle XY (ABC Family)
Saving Grace (TNT)
Best Presentation on Television:
• Battlestar Galactica: Razor (Sci Fi Channel)
The Company (TNT)
Fallen (ABC Family)
The Family Guy: “Blue Harvest” (Fox)
Masters of Science Fiction (ABC)
Shrek the Halls (ABC)
Tin Man (Sci Fi Channel)
Best Actor on Television:
Matt Dallas for Kyle XY (ABC Family)
Matthew Fox for Lost (ABC)
Michael C. Hall for Dexter (Showtime)
Kevin McKidd for Journeyman (NBC)
• Edward James Olmos for Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi Channel)
Lee Pace for Pushing Daisies (ABC)
Check out the rest of the Saturn Award nominees. Congratulations to Edward James Olmos and the rest of the cast and crew of Battlestar Galactica for the well-deserved nominations! The winners will be announced on June 24 2008 in Universal City, California, USA. Fingers crossed, everyone!

Apparently, Tricia was recently on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, evidently promoting the upcoming season of Battlestar Galactica (can anyone confirm this, though?). Unfortunately, I missed this one entirely - my apologies. If anyone is able to send in a clip of her on the show, please do so! Thank you.
Update: Tricia was indeed recently on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, however it was a rerun from February 28 2007.

“This is a painting I got in Nice. Again, it’s sort of a silkscreen. I’m cheap. I need to make more money so I can buy real art!”
I just discovered Tricia recently invited MTV Canada into her Los Angeles home and gave them a tour on MTV’s Cribs. I was able to obtain a small video clip of the episode, 347 screen captures of which have been added to the gallery. I’m working very hard on the full version of the site right now, so you’ll soon also be able to download the video at our upcoming video archive. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, watch the video online here.

IFMagazine recently sat down with Tricia’s Spiral co-star Zachary Levi to discuss the film. Read the interview in its entirety at IFMagazine.com - here’s what Levi had to say on working with Tricia:
F: What was it like working with Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica?
LEVI: Tricia was a doll. She was ridiculously talented and ridiculously hot. She was so nice. She was only there one day and it was a great day. We sat around and talked about life and Battlestar Galactica and her husband and how great life was and it was a really fun time to be making the movie. That day with Tricia was a lot of fun. I hope that our paths cross again in the future and we get to work together again, because she really is a class act.
iF: Well you guys both work for NBC Universal so there’s a chance she could end up on Chuck after Battlestar winds down.
LEVI: Oh yeah! I could totally see her on Chuck. She could be Yvonne [Strahovski]’s sister!
Well said, Levi, we couldn’t agree more. The interview also implies that Tricia indeed has a very small supporting role in the film, seeing that she was on set only for one day. Read the full interview at IFMagazine.com!

I was finally able to track down Tricia’s February 2007 appearance on Howard Stern On Demand, and have made hundreds of screen captures of her on the show. I went a little cap crazy there, but please bear in mind it is a 30-minute-long show. At any rate, our gallery now features over 11,000 Tricia Helfer photos! Enjoy.

I’ve been able to hunt down some details regarding the upcoming season of Battlestar Galactica. As most of you will already know, the series’ 4th and final season will kick start on April 4 2008 on Sci-Fi Channel and the Battlestar Wiki has some details regarding the season’s first episode, titled “He That Believeth In Me”. The episode title has reportedly been snagged from John 11:25-26, which says:
Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (King James Bible)
This is reportedly not the only Season 4 episode title with a potentially religious connotation. Furthermore, Buddy TV has a collection of spoilers regarding the season’s 1st episode. However, if you wish to remain unspoiled I highly recommend you stop reading now. Read the rest of this entry »

Finally the news I’ve been waiting for! From MTV.com:
After nearly three months and approximately $1.9 billion in losses, the writers’ strike that has ground Hollywood development to a halt is nearing a resolution, just in time to salvage a true Oscar ceremony February 24.
The Writers Guild of America’s leaders have approved a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and recommended to their constituents that the picketing stop. As of Sunday afternoon (February 10), members of the Guild have 48 hours to vote whether to immediately end the strike. If all goes accordingly, thousands of striking writers could be back to work on TV shows and movies as early as Wednesday [Feb 13 2008].
The vote to end the strike is not a vote to approve the negotiated contract. In order to more fully understand both the language and ramifications of the agreement, members have a 10-day window to read and approve the new contract in a separate vote. It’s possible, though unlikely, that the writers could vote to end the strike and then later vote down the contract.
“Is the deal good enough to accept? Everything else is irrelevant, and emotion should play no part in the decision,” screenwriter John August wrote on his blog Saturday. “Yes. It’s a yes for me. And I suspect it’s a yes for most writers.”
